Fantastic piece of vintage fitness, jogging and sporting-goods ephemera, dating approximately to the early 1980’s. The Super Star Wrist Wallet was marketed as “The Action Way to Carry Your Essentials,” designed to be worn around the wrist while running, biking, tennis, hiking, racquetball, jogging and other activities. The package also advertises its unusual secondary use: “Snap-Strap Fits Over Any Laced Shoe!”

The wallet remains mounted to its colorful original yellow retail display card and appears unused/new old stock.

• Absorbent terry lining

• Snap-secured outer compartment
• Attached metal ball-chain
• “Super Star” woven label
• Can be worn on the wrist or attached over a laced shoe

The original package describes it as a way to carry “change, keys, folded bills, whatever you need” without the bulk of a conventional wallet — essentially an early predecessor to the modern running wallet/running belt.
