This is a letter regarding a “Steam In The Snow” Steam Safari trip with two souvenir tickets from Iron Horse Ramble for February 25, 1968.

Letter opens up with: “Please find enclosed your Steam Safari tickets for the SECOND SECTION of the "Steam in the Snow” trip which will be operated on Sunday February 25th, 1968.”

Tickets read: “Issued By

The High Iron Company, Inc.

SOUVENIR TICKET OF IRON HORSE RAMBLE

TO

WILKES-BARRE, PA.”

Envelope cover includes two Christmas stamps and one cancel on January 18, 1968, with Iron Horse Ramble return address stamp.

Letter measures 8 1/2” x 11”.

Souvenir tickets measure 3” x 5 1/2” each.

Envelope measures 7 1/2” x 4”.

CONDITION:

Excellent vintage, preowned condition. Envelope has tears from being opened and folds throughout. Slight discoloration from age. Tickets are clean except for sharpie and pen writing on them. Light wear to tickets from usage. See photos for details.
