Includes Spruce Hotel text letterhead on stationery and cover envelope.

Envelope measures 3 3/4” x 6 1/2”.

Stationery measures 3 1/4” x 6”, and folds out to three panels.

Some history: The 12-story Philadelphia building was built in 1923 in the Art Deco style with a touch of Colonial Revivalism. Its 209 rooms with shared baths were rented to single “gentlemen.” In the 1950’s it was sold and became the Parker Hotel.

CONDITION:

Excellent vintage, preowned but unused condition. Some discoloration and staining to envelope. Stationery stored folded with light wear and corner creasing. See photos for details.
