This is a rare advertising booklet for The Stone School on Storm King. It is undated, but based on the name of the school, info, and photos it is circa 1915-1920.

The Storm King School, which borders the Black Rock Forest preserve, was founded as the Cornwall Heights School in 1867 and kept this name until 1912 when it was renamed the Stone School after its third headmaster Dr. Carlos Stone.)

Pages are folded / printed on single side, and bound by string.

Measures 8 1/2” x 6 1/2.

23 pages, plus cover.

Each page has a photo and description, including the sections of campus and surroundings, boys playing sports like football, hockey, tennis, and more. There is a page of the swimming pool, which it states was a gift of Mrs. J. Frank Hull.

Lots of insightful, and maybe unknown historical information!!

Excellent, antique pre-owned condition. Some discoloration to covers, but otherwise in excellent shape with no writing or damage. Pages inside beautifully preserved. See photos for details.
