Everett Dean Martin was an American minister, writer, journalist, instructor and an advocate of adult education. Other notable works of his include “The Behavior of Crowds” (1920) and “Psychology and Its Use” (1933). He was the director of the People’s Institute of Cooper Union and he also served on the board of directors of The New School in New York.
Includes newspaper clippings which describe Everett Dean Martin talking about this book as well as other books that he’s published throughout his career & photograph of Everett Dean Martin.
Book is signed by Everett Dean Martin inscribed with date of March 20, 1930 and “Cooper Union” on the blank front end page.

CONDITION:
Excellent vintage, preowned condition. Hardcover has tears to top and bottom of spine. Small chips to cover and top of pages. Binding is tight and pages are clean, with slight discoloration from age. Newspaper clippings are brittle and falling apart, but inserted loose behind cover as found. See photos for details.
