LOT OF 9
VOX Magazine (UK Music Publication)
1991-1997
Excellent lot of 9 original UK VOX music magazines, spanning 1991–1997 and capturing the transition from alternative/indie rock into the height of the Britpop era. Published by the makers of NME, VOX was one of the major British music magazines of the period.
This is a particularly strong group for 1990s music collectors, with cover features on Oasis, Morrissey, Paul Weller, R.E.M., Supergrass, The Charlatans, Spin Doctors, Shaun Ryder/Weller/Gene, and Wendy James, plus coverage of many other important artists including Blur, Pearl Jam, Daft Punk, Foo Fighters, Björk, Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, David Bowie, Beck, Portishead, Stone Roses, The Verve, Faith No More, Eddie Vedder, Jamiroquai and more.

The October 1994 Oasis issue is an especially desirable early Oasis-era cover, published shortly after the release of Definitely Maybe, making it a standout piece in the lot. The 1997 issues also contain excellent period coverage from the late-Britpop/alternative era, including an early Daft Punk mention on the April 1997 cover.
