Company History: The factory was established in 1863 by Rémi Delinières. It was located in Limoges in the street, which is now named Albert-Thomas Avenue. In 1895 Léonard Bernardaud became the partner of R. Delinières in the R. Delinières & Cie (Company). Five years later the company was dissolved and replaced by the new company L. Bernardaud & Cie. In 1919 the company opened office in New York.

Maker's Marks: These pieces have the printed green mark of 'D & Co' over 'France' mark that was used by R. Delinières & Cie from ca. 1894 until 1900. Also displayed are printed red marks of L. Bernardaud & Cie, dating this piece right around 1900 or shortly after.

Pattern Description: White roses with pink flowers. Scalloped gold handle edges with seashell motif.

Measures 14” long x 6 1/2” wide, & 1 1/4” tall.

CONDITION:

Excellent vintage, preowned condition. No cracks or chips. Much of gold has rubbed off of edges. Print is full and clean. Light surface marks. See photos for details.
