An unusual antique silverplate smoker’s companion combining an ashtray, guillotine cigar tip cutter, figural bird and wishbone cigar rest, and match holder.

Manufactured in Birmingham, Connecticut during the late Victorian to early Edwardian period, this is a rare multi-function smoking accessory with attractive embossed decoration and original aged patina. A wonderful piece for collectors of antique tobacciana, Victorian silverplate, or unique figural desk and smoking accessories.

Marked underneath bird embossed with Derby Silver Co. mark.

Measures 4 5/8" wide x 4 5/8" tall.

CONDITION:

Excellent, vintage pre-owned condition. Spring tight on cutter. Tarnish and patina throughout showing age, can be polished to shine. See photos for details.
