Original red color front & back cover w/ side binding hanging loosely.

Cover has original school emblem on it in silver metallic print.

Scrapbook measures 16 3/4” x 12 1/2”.

Some background into Miss Madeira’s School (Now known as simply The Madeira School):

The school is an elite, private, day and boarding college-preparatory school for girls. Originally located on 19th Street near Dupont Circle in Washington, D.C., it was founded by Lucy Madeira Wing (1873–1961) in 1906 and moved to the Northern Virginia suburb of McLean 12 miles from downtown Washington, DC in 1931. This scrapbook is from the original location in the early days over 100 years ago.

CONDITION:

Excellent vintage, preowned condition. Bounded loosely with cover loose, but complete and can be tied and rebound. Some pasted in and some loosely placed items, letters, handbooks, etc. Some pieces are glued to the paper, others are not. Discoloration from age. See photos for details.
