This scarce early 20th-century advertising booklet offers an excellent snapshot of consumer culture during the height of the trading stamp era. Inside are 16 pages listing participating manufacturers and merchants across dozens of product categories including groceries, tobacco, coffee, canned goods, baking products, soaps, household items, medicines, candy, cigars, starch, polish, and many more. The booklet also explains how the Philadelphia Yellow Trading Stamp program operated and what types of labels, wrappers, coupons, certificates, and trademarks could be redeemed.
