This is a wonderful scrapbook of treasures that were collected from a 1962 Honeymoon trip from Pennsylvania to Miami.

The album is branded from the Sahara Resort Motel at 183rd Street, Miami Beach with “OUR HONEYMOON” and logo with graphic of hotel printed on front cover.

•It starts out with the marriage certificate and a matchbook with the newlyweds last name.

•Next is a Bill/Receipt, Cocktail Lounge Menu, and Giant Postcard from the George Washington Motor Lodge in King Of Prussia, PA, where they stayed for a their first night before the trip!

•Next is the Pennsylvania Railroad Tickets from Philadelphia to Miami and Ticket Envelope! Along with PRR luggage tags, and more tags from Seaboard Air Line Railroad Co. Miami.

•Then there is a full matchbook, bill/receipt, letterhead stationary paper and envelope, as well as 2 postcards from the Sahara Resort Motel in Miami Beach, where the album is from and where they stayed at in Miami for the trip.

•Next is a Giant Postcard from the 163rd Street Shopping Center in Miami.

•2 Programs from Barry Ashton’s Vives! Les Girls! At the Deauville Hotel in Miami.

•Also a Table Card Menu from the Casanova Room at the Deauville and a nearly full Deauville matchbook.

•Next are mostly full matchbooks from Junior’s Restaurant & Thunderbird Resort Motel in Miami Beach.

•Also, a business card for SILVER FIN, a fishing boat rental for $5 a day!

•Next there is sheet music for “Count Every Star” and it is signed to the bride Betty, not sure by who? Also, signed again with address on back.

•Lastly, there are 2 issues of “This Week in MIAMI BEACH” booklets, from the 2 weeks of June 23 and June 30.

Whole album measures 11” x 7 1/2”.

CONDITION:

Items have been attached to album with clear tape. Well preserved from being in album, but creasing and some warping to shape to some items. See photos for details.
