This is an original set of 2 letters about the Near East Relief campaign with a proclamation from Governor Edwards & signed letter from New Jersey State Secretary, Julian Zelchenko to the Mayor.

One is a bulletin style proclamation, and one a signed letter announcing and explaining about the proclamation.

The bulletin includes a proclamation about the states campaign for participation in the Near East Relief by New Jersey Governor Edward Edwards dates January 29, 1920.

The Letter with NEAR EAST RELIEF letterhead and names of important members is addressed to an NJ mayor, introducing the Proclamation from the Governor on the other page, and asking for them to issue a similar proclamation for their city. Dated February 10, 1920.

CONDITION:

Excellent, antique condition. Some creasing and discoloration, and tears to edges. See photos for details.
