Stamped upfront " TAUNUS BRUNNEN . BY APPOINTMENT" in a circle with a logo and the words " J. FRIEDRICH GROSSKARBEN E/FRANKFURT a M" (Gross-Karben is a region outside of Frankfurt on Main) The logo resembles the Feathers of the Prince of Wells Brunnen means Fountain, Taunus is the name of mountains around Frankfurt, known for its mineral springs Bottles like this have been ordered by the British nobility and transported to the island.

Imprint on back side under handle reads “12”.

CONDITION:

Excellent, antique used condition. Age and wear throughout. Chip to top of outer rim of opening. Felt applied to bottom for protection. See photos for details.
